GivingTuesday: A Global Day of Generosity

The first Tuesday after Thanksgiving is GivingTuesday, the kickoff to the giving season. GivingTuesday is a celebration of generosity – a global movement that encourages individuals and communities to give back and make a difference.

Every year, you astound us with your incredible generosity on GivingTuesday. Last year, GivingTuesday was our largest single fundraising day EVER! You raised more than $117,000 in one day…just incredible!

And this year, we invite you to join us on Tuesday, November 29, to change the way the world cares for orphans. Your gift of hope will help even more children find families. 

ONE DAY WITH A GLOBAL IMPACT

Thanks to your generosity, the family care movement is growing around the world. The Hope Effect is pioneering and expanding this innovative style of orphan care in multiple locations in Latin America and Southeast Asia. In fact, we recently expanded into our newest location - Battambang, Cambodia.

This GivingTuesday, our goal of $125,000 will be used to help us grow in our current locations AND expand into our next new location in 2023! That’s right…we’ve already identified another opportunity to help more orphaned and vulnerable children find the love of a family. Your donation will make such a difference in the lives of kids across the globe.
