There are more than 1,500 children living in institutions in the city of Chihuahua. And until a few years ago, institutional care was the only legal option for these kids. But we know this type of environment has damaging physical, developmental and psychological effects. We know that children belong in families.
So let’s do this! Thanks to our partner organization, Familia LightShine, family-style foster care is now available in Chihuahua. And recently, The Hope Effect and Familia LightShine joined forces to get more children into families…and we’d love for you to partner with us!
